Malvolio Pinot Noir wine from the Laetitia Vineyard in the Central Coast of California
We support Carolyn Feruzzi Wellisz and her new venture at
Malvolio pinot noir wines are hand crafted in small quantities, aged in French oak, and remain unblended and unfiltered. The style of the wines represents the traditional Burgundian value of minimal intervention, allowing each wine to be a true expression of its terroir. All grapes are grown within selected blocks of the Laetitia Vineyard, situated within the Arroyo Grande Valley appellation. Cool maritime breezes and coastal morning fog contribute to a long growing season in one of California’s coolest wine grape growing regions. The vineyards are planted on a hilly terrain characterized by diverse microclimates and varied soil types. Of the 432 producing acres of pinot noir, a few distinctive parcels have been chosen to make the block-specific Malvolio wines. We have recently received some wonderful reviews, and the Wine Enthusiast calls us a heavy hitter of Pinot Noir. So please contact us for a place on our allocation list, and to purchase wine.
